Summer Escapade

It’s only now that I’m writing about what happened to my summer. (Very timely since this is my sister’s official end of summer vacation as she goes back to school today.  duhness…)

So, what happened to Summer 2005? Here’s a fast track on my out of town happenings. I mentioned in an earlier entry that my first out of town was in Tagaytay with The Charmed Ones1. I went back to Tagaytay by the end of April with the Planeteers2, enjoyed and overnight stay at Dacha Resort, did some shopping in Laguna and played all we can badminton at Sheridan.

The week after that, I went to my ever summer destination, White Beach, Puerto Galera. It was suppose to be the highlight of my summer but due to work, I had to go back the following day. Nevertheless, I had fun. I went with some officemates and some Chenelin3 friends and some badminton buddies. Well, it was a mixed group really. In spite the fact that not a single thing was followed in our itinerary, we had absolute fun!

My last trip was our sort of company outing. We went to Club Manila East in Taytay Rizal. Just attended the morning activities and went home in time for Mike’s wedding.

Honestly, that’s really not what I wanted to write about. It’s the getaway above all the getaways that I did this summer…
