A Moment

I sit here and watch you.
Amidst the hustle and bustle outside, you slumber ever so peacefully.
A ray of light shines upon your face and the radiance of life comforts my troubled spirit.
I wonder how a simple love can burst forth complexeties so great.
The world around us shouts confusion and doubt.
Your whisper stands above it and rescues me to tranquility.

I understand now...
everything is between you and me

Nothing else matters as long as I have you.

One more hour

If suddenly time would stretch one more hour for me
To do something, what would it be?

Probably continue to dream, sleep, enjoy my nest
Or explore the world with so much life and zest

I'd appreciate more the things I see
Perhaps smell lilacs, chase butterflies or walk more leisurely.

There are countless things to what I'd do, where I'd be,
One thing's for sure though,
all these would mean nothing if you weren't with me!
